William “Bill” Ehman, Jr., 85, Green Bay, passed away Thursday evening, January 28, 2021, at a local hospital. Born April 1, 1935, in Milwaukee, he is the son of the late William and Louise (Gross) Ehman, Sr. Bill graduated from Shawano High School, Class of 1954. He faithfully served in the U.S. Marine Corps. After returning from the service, Bill was employed at Liebmann Packing until it closed. He then worked at Packerland Packing, retiring as the maintenance supervisor after many years of dedicated service. Bill wed Mary Kleman on June 21, 1958, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shawano. The couple enjoyed traveling in their camper visiting friends and family and taking in the great outdoors. Bill loved to make sausage and smoke various meat products which he would sharing with anyone who appreciated his craft. Bill was an avid Packer fan who enjoyed lounging in his Packer clothing.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Janice Ehman, Green Bay; five grandchildren, Brian (Carissa), Bill, Jeremy, Eric (Brittany), and Nicole (Nicholas); eight great-grandchildren, Mason, Nico, Elle, David, Shiloh, Crew, Edmond, and Micah; one brother, Gary (Linda) Ehman; nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
He was also preceded by one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jim LeDuc; and one sister, Janice (Louie) Schultz.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, from 11am until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass, 1pm at Saints Peter and Paul Church with Rev. José Lopez officiating with full military honors to follow. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
The family asks that you please wear your favorite Packer attire to the gathering, Bill would have loved that.
