Thomas L. Miller, 55, died quietly in his sleep on Thursday, April 20, 2017, in Green Bay, WI.
Born February 21, 1962, in Rockford, IL, he is the son of Adolfine “Fini” (Schmid) Miller and the late Jimmy Miller.
Thomas was retired from the U.S. Army where he served tours of duty in Germany, Italy and Afghanistan. His duties included working in the Engineering Corps, as a Field Medic and finally was assigned to Special Operations. He was wounded while in Afghanistan and lost hearing in his right ear.
Thomas is survived by his mother, Adolfine Miller, Arizona; brother, John (Judy) Miller, Rockford, IL; sister, Heidi (Bob) Marlowe, The Woodlands, TX; two nieces, Emily (Marlowe) Russel, Conroe, TX and Caroline Marlowe, The Woodlands, TX; and close friends, Jerry and Tammy Adkins, Rubicon, WI.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Miller.
Thomas will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery on Wed. June 14, 2017, at 10am (EDT) with the military honors he so richly deserves.
