Steve Gajeski

March 28, 1958 — July 23, 2025

Steven "Steve" Gajeski, 67, Green Bay, passed away July 23, 2025, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Born on March 28, 1958, he is the son of the late Daniel and Mabel (DeFrance) Gajeski. Steve worked at Georgia Pacific for 42 years. He enjoyed darts, deer hunting, bowling, and especially golf. Steve was an avid sports fan especially enjoying watching his kids play sports. Home projects were always on Steve's to do list and he was very proud of his yard-it was always impeccable. Day or night he was always there to help his family, friends, and neighbors, never wanting anything in return.

He is survived by his son Justin; granddaughter, Aspen; siblings, Don (Phyllis) Gajeski, Gloria Scholbe, Brenda Knaus, Daniel Gajeski, Mark (Sandi) Gajeski; sister-in-law, Karen (Joe) Van; father-in-law Alton Georgia; mother of his children, Debbie (Bob) Chavez; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his son Derek; parents Daniel and Mabel; mother-in-law, Nancy Georgia; brother Jimmy Gajeski; sister-in-law, Marsha Gajeski.

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Friday August 1, from 4 PM until the time of the service at 7 PM with Sr. Helen Keyzer officiating.
