Ryan Paul Baenen was called up to the ultimate dart league in the early hours of February 18th, 2023, at his home in Green Bay. Ryan was born on February 17, 1975, to his parents Terry (Gibson) Erskine and Francis Baenen.
Despite his self-proclaimed prickly demeanor, Ryan was a kind, giving, and humorous soul, reflected in the fact he was an organ donor. A talented character, Ryan lived a full, colorful life. His humor was infectious, but his superpower was the ability to be loveable and infuriating simultaneously. His intelligence and sharp wit will be sorely missed by family and friends.
His passions included music, TV, movies, gaming, performing in bands and plays, and disc golf. Although obscure bands and craft beers were favorites, his true love was darts, having represented teams at state and national tournaments on several occasions.
Ryan is preceded in death his mother, Terry Erskine, and two siblings, Lisa and Jason.
He is survived by his father Francis (Fritz) Baenen and his wife Patricia; sister Bobbie (Thom) Homburg, his step-father Dennis Erskine; and step-siblings: Brian (Jennifer) Erskine, Craig (Lori) Erskine, Allison Erskine (Scott Rodgers); Kevin (Paula) Lucius; Keith (Susan) Lucius; Kristine Lucius (Tom Perrelli).
The visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, February 24th, 2023 at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N Baird St. Green Bay WI 54302. A short family remembrance will be held at 6:30 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested well wishers make a donation in Ryan’s name to the charity of their choice.
