Ronald L. “Legs” LeGros, 82, was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away quietly on October 26, 2021. Ron was born on May 23, 1939, in Green Bay, to Cyril and Dorothy LeGros. Ron was a dedicated father and loving husband. He had a fulfilling life and was happiest when his children and family were all together. Most of his career Ron worked in the Food Service Industry. Most recently he was employed by Oneida Nation.
Ron had a passion for baseball. In his younger years he was batboy for the Green Bay Blue Jays and later played with the 616 Club. Ron was also an avid golfer.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, sister, JoAnn (LeGros) Domalick; Mother & Father-in-law, Delvin & Bess Hershfield; brother-in-law, Allen Domalick; Sister-in-law Sharon Hershfield; Aunts Lorraine Zastrow, Evelyn Hoth, Leona Bethurem; nephew, Steve Domalick and Cousin Jim Bethurem and many other family members and friends.
Surviving family are his wife, Jean (Hershfield) they were blessed with 58 years of marriage, and he was the love of her life and their two children Holly (Larry) Marquardt; Lance (Shelley) LeGros. Ron dearly loved his grandchildren: Brittany (Nick Miles) Marquardt; Austin and Tyler Marquardt; Sidney, Lauren and Caleb LeGros; Paul (Carol) Hershfield and their family; nephew, Scott Domalick; Cousin Richard (Lynn) Bethurem and their family and Marci Bethurem and her family.
Per Ron’s wishes, a small family service of remembrance will be held privately.
