Roger H. Coppersmith, Sr. 75, Green Bay, passed away early Sunday morning, July 8, 2018. Born July 4, 1943 in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Claude and Marie (Bodoh) Coppersmith. Roger faithfully served in the US Army. He then worked for over 40 years at Georgia Pacific. Roger enjoyed golfing with his daughter, shooting pool, traveling, and especially enjoyed his days at the farm and spending time with his grand and great-grandchildren.
Roger is survived by his son, Roger (fiancee’, Candy Gross); daughter, Chris; their mother, Carol Hunsucker; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald; sister, Florence Challe; and good friend, Lynn and her daughter, Angela.
He is also preceded in death by a grandson, Roger Coppersmith, III; two bothers, Leonard and Robert; and sister, Dorothy Krumpos.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, THURSDAY, July 12, 2018 from 1pm until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass 3pm THURSDAY at Saints Peter and Paul Church with Msgr. James Feely officiating with full military honors to follow.
