On Sunday, April 22, 2018, God called upon Ralph E. Schwartz to join Him in Heaven. Ralph was born September 4, 1957 in Watertown, WI to the late James and Rita (Zelewski) Schwartz. He graduated from Xavier High School in Appleton with the class of 1976. Following high school, Ralph worked at various local companies; for the last 16 years, he worked at Overhead Door Co. of Green Bay. For the last 10 years, he volunteered at Faith Haven Corporation in West Bend. His true passion was his “four legged fur babies.’’ He was known on the farm as ‘The Cow Whisperer.’ Ralph was a member of The Knights of Columbus, 2nd and 4th Degree.
Ralph is survived by his siblings: Laura (fiancée Matt Joppe) McNamara of Green Bay; John (special friend Marianne Stewart) Schwartz of Sun City Center, Fl; Anna Marie Rudloff of Green Bay, and Edward Schwartz of Greenleaf. Ralph is further survived by nine nieces and nephews; sixteen great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; two siblings: Kathleen Stadtfield and David Schwartz; one nephew and a great-niece.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason St, Green Bay, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. For those interested, a Knights of Columbus service will begin at 4:30 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. with Fr. Mike Ingold officiating. Ralph will be laid to rest at Nicolet Memorial Gardens, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd, Green Bay, on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 1 p.m.
