In the loving memory our beloved Dad, Ralph Emil Schade, 86, who fought a courageous battle to live right up to the moment he went to heaven on Tuesday morning, Sept. 19, 2017 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence of Unity Hospice. Born Feb. 13, 1931, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Herman and Dorothy (Mielke) Schade. Ralph married Doris Van Den Busch on Feb. 23, 1952, at St John's Catholic Church in Green Bay. He faithfully served in the U.S. Army’s Fifth Army ERC Signal Corp while station in occupied Germany. Ralph was employed with Broadway Automotive working for 46 years in the body shop. He loved working on cars, going to car shows, taking family vacations and blue grass music.
Ralph is survived by his five daughters: Judy (Wayne) De Jardin, Evelyn (Duane) Schroeder, Jean (Steven) Schartner, Christine Kloehn and her friend Jerry Rank, and Laurie (Matt) Schlichting; grandchildren, Christopher (Wendi) De Jardin, Jessica (Greg) Belanger, Tanya LaFave, Nick (Katie), and Andrew (Kristen) LaFave, Kelly (Joe) Padgett, Travis and Tony Schartner, Sarah (Zach) De Bauche, Adam Kloehn, Ethan Zingler, Cassandra Knight; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Rachael De Jardin, William and Claira Belanger, Sirona Bohland, Danica, Harper and Joesphine LaFave, Jude LaFave, Elioitt and Jasper De Bauche, and Isabella Padgett. He is also survived by four brothers-in-law, Jerry (Mary), Mike, Larry (Ginny), and James Van Den Busch; one sister-in-law, Linda Van Den Busch; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; parents and grandparents; son-in-law, Donald LaFave, Jr.; two great-granddaughters, Lydia Belanger and Lilly LaFave; sister, Gloria (Garth) Delveaux; nephews, Bradley Van Ess, Joe Naniot, Al Lewis, Jr., and Robbie Waslowski; four sisters-in-law and spouses, Mary Ann (Al) Lewis, Betty (Ken) Naniot, Ramona (Stanley) Waslowski, and Rozie Van Den Busch and.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Saturday, Sept. 23rd, from 11am until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 2pm followed by full military honors. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
