Ralph O. Kurowski, 97, Green Bay, died peacefully at a local nursing home on August 6, 2017. Born on October 7, 1919, in Krakow, Wis., he is the son of the late John and Helen (Jagodzinski) Kurowski. Ralph proudly served in the United States Air Corps as a Lieutenant. He graduated with a degree in engineering from the University of Wisconsin. In 1946, Ralph married the former Eleanor Chelbowski, and she preceded him in death on August 12, 1995. His employment included working for General Electric Medical Systems as a field service support manager until his retirement in 1981.
Ralph is survived by one son, Paul Kurowski, Green Bay; one grandson, Jed (Sara) VandenLangenberg, De Pere; great grandchildren, Braylon and Brindle VandenLangenberg; one brother, Gerald (Jill) Kurowski; sisters, Pat Brzezinski and Sharon Lorsung; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; one daughter, Linda Queoff; and his parents.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the procession to church. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Saints Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Anthony Cirignani, OFM officiating. Military honors will follow outside the church. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Milwaukee.
