Nibardo Ramirez, 74, Green Bay, falleció el lunes 19 de abril del 2021 rodeado del amor de su familia.

Nació en San Miguel el Alto, Jalisco, México, hijo de los difuntos, J. Isabel Ramírez y Basilisa Díaz el 7 de febrero de 1947. Fue uno de los 11 hijos, criado en el rancho de la familia.

Nibardo se casó con el amor de su vida, Alicia González en México. Juntos tuvieron dos hijos, Liliana y Nivardo, a quienes amaban mucho. Nibardo dedicó su vida a su familia en su rancho de México y a trabajar como chef de temporada en California durante más de 30 años hasta su jubilación.

Estaba extremadamente orgulloso del trabajo que hizo y de la vida que construyó para su familia. Lamentablemente, Nibardo se despidió de su esposa Alicia en mayo del 2016. Unos años después de que ella falleciera, se mudó a Green Bay, Wisconsin para estar más cerca de su familia y encontró muchos nuevos amigos para toda la vida, a quienes amaba profundamente.

A Nibardo le sobreviven sus hijos, Liliana (José Aguirre) Ramírez González y Nivardo (Nancy) Ramírez; nietos, Victoria, Abner y Aliyah; sus 10 hermanos y hermanas; y muchas sobrinas y sobrinos.

Le anteceden en la muerte sus padres y su amada esposa.

El velorio, incluyendo el rosario, se llevará a cabo el sábado 24 de abril desde el mediodía hasta las 2 pm en Malcore Funeral Home East: 701 Baird Street, Green Bay. Las oraciones formales serán dirigidas por el padre José a la 1:45 pm en la funeraria, seguidas de una procesión a la misa de cuerpo presente en la iglesia católica Saints Peter and Paul a las 2 pm.

Un agradecimiento especial al equipo de atención hospitalaria y de oncología de Nibardo en St. Vincent, así como a todos los amigos y familiares que llamaron y visitaron para mantener su espíritu alegre.

Nibardo Ramirez, 74, Green Bay, passed away Monday, April 19 2021 with loving family by his side.

He was born in San Miguel el Alto, Mexico to the late Isabel Ramirez and Basilisa Diaz on February 7, 1947. He was one of 11 children, raised on a family ranch.

Nibardo married the love of his life, Alicia Gonzalez in Mexico. Together, they had two children, Liliana and Nivardo, who they loved dearly. Nibardo split his life between running the family ranch in Mexico and serving as a seasonal chef in California for over 30 years until his retirement.

He was extremely proud of the work he did and the life he built for his family. Sadly, Nibardo said goodbye to his wife Alicia in May of 2016. A few years after she passed away, he moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin to be closer to family and found many new lifelong friends, who he cared for deeply.

Nibardo is survived by his children, Liliana (Jose Aguirre) Ramirez Gonzalez and Nivardo (Nancy) Ramirez; grandchildren, Victoria, Abner and Aliyah; his 10 brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife.

Visitation including rosary prayers will be held Saturday, April 24th from noon-2pm at Malcore Funeral Home East: 701 Baird Street, Green Bay. Formal prayers will be led by Rev. Jose at 1:45pm at the funeral home, followed by a procession to Mass at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 2pm.
