Mildred “Millie” E. Suplinski, 95, life-long resident of Green Bay, found peace with God, Saturday, January 25, 2020. Born August 23, 1924, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Theodore and Laura (Nickolai) Chekouras. Millie was raised with a strong Catholic faith. She graduated from East High School, 1942. After graduation, she worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for VanDeuren Agency where she met Harold J. Suplinski and were married on August 21, 1948, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. Harold preceded her in death on February 21, 1991.
Millie will be remembered as a kind and caring person. She was an avid Bridge player, enjoyed cheering for the Packers, music and dancing, reading and watching classic movies. She and Harold enjoyed a fun social life with many friends in Schmitt Park. Millie was extremely proud of her family and would attend all of her grandchildren’s activities. There is no one who could ever make homemade fudge like Millie.
