Mildred Ann O'Leary

Mildred A. “Millie” O’Leary, 80, Green Bay, died peacefully at her home on May 7, 2017, with family by her side. Born on October 12, 1936, in Ladysmith, Wis., she is the daughter of the late James and Anna (Soukup) Slechta. On April 19, 1958, she married Melvin O’Leary, and he preceded her in death on October 17, 1981. Millie worked as a certified nursing assistant at Bornemann Nursing Home for over 23 years. She enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, playing bingo and slot machines.

Millie is survived by one son, Mike Slechta, Wrightstown; one daughter, Jackie O’Leary, Green Bay; three grandchildren, Sarah O’Leary, Green Bay, Charlie Slechta, Wrightstown, and Ashley Nault, Escanaba, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Bob O’Leary, and Paul O’Leary; two daughters, Colleen O’Leary, and one infant daughter; one daughter-in-law, Jill Slechta; and one sister.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Friday from 1 – 3 p.m. Life celebration 3:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
