Michael “Buffy” Gordon Heraly, 66, Green Bay, died peacefully on August 9, 2014, surrounded by family. Born on July 22, 1948, in Green Bay, he is the son of Gordon Heraly, Sr. and the late Angie (Jacobe) Heraly. Mike is a 1966 graduate of Premontre High School. He dedicated 30 years of his life to the Green Bay Police Department, serving as Captain. Mike was also a member of the Green Bay Police Benevolent Association. With the company of his friends and family, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, NASCAR, trap shooting, and playing cards. Family will always have a special place in their heart for the integral role that Mike played in the lives of his niece, nephew, and great niece and nephew, when his brother, Gordy passed away.
Mike is survived by his father, Gordon Heraly, Sr.; one sister-in-law, Kathy (Brown) Heraly, Green Bay; nephew, Chad Heraly, Appleton; niece, Renee (Blake) Main, Green Bay; and his great niece and nephew, London and August Main, whom he loved so much.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and one brother, Gordy Heraly, Jr.
Visitation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Monday (TODAY) from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Funeral service 7:00 p.m. TONIGHT at the funeral home. Burial in Ft. Howard Cemetery.
