Mary Lee DeWilde

Mary L. DeWilde, age 76 of Suring, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on July 30, 1945 in De Pere to the late Mr. and Mrs. Peters. Mary was married to Richard Rein on February 20, 1965. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1987. She later was remarried to Ralph DeWilde.

Mary graduated from De Pere High School and went on to work as a general laborer at Nicolet Paper Company. Through the years Mary enjoyed camping, gambling and watching all species of birds.

Left to cherish Mary’s memory is her five children, John (significant other Trudy) Rein, Laurie (Bill) Mcgregor, Shelly (significant other John) Finnell, Eric (significant other Stephany) Rein and Peggy (Erik) Stevens; 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Per Mary’s wishes a private family gathering will take place. A celebration of life for Mary will follow the private service on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 2-6 PM at 1910 University Ave.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of both St. Vincent Hospital and to Unity Hospice for all the compassion and care that they gave to Mary.
