Mary “Rita” Corbisier, 92, Green Bay, found peace Thursday morning, July 19, 2018 at a local care facility. Born March 4, 1926 in Lincoln, WI, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Pinchart) DeVos. Rita married Marvin Corbisier on April 12, 1947 and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1991. Rita loved playing cards, traveling, and spending time with family.
Rita is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Orv Ritz; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Mary Corbisier; one daughter-in-law, Sandra Collier of Gladys, VA; grandchildren, Brett (Loriann) Ritz, Nicki (Doug) Steiner, Kerry VanRoy (friend, Abbey Moreno), Jaime (Sean) DeBoth, Beth (Tony) Vertz, Jenny (Erik) Thyes, and Michelle (Bob) Sonneberg; and 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Peter DeVos; further survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Her sister-in-law, Marge DeVos, has since passed away since Rita's passing.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy and Ray Kane and Dawn Corbisier; two grandsons, Ray Kane, Jr. and Andrew Steiner; one great-grandson, Carter Jon Thyes; brother and sisters, Willard DeVos, Evelyn (Al) Marsland, Grace (Dan) Klimek, and Mary Magdalene DeVos; sister-in-law, Evelyn DeVos.
Visitation at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 140 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay, Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 3pm until the time of the Mass. Funeral Mass, 4pm Tuesday, July 31st at the Cathedral with Rev. Joseph E. Dorner officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
