Marilyn Louise Laes
March 22, 1944 — December 5, 2020
Marilyn L. Laes, age 76 of Green Bay, passed away on Saturday morning, December 5, 2020, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center. She was born on March 22, 1944 in Green Bay to the late Myron and Jean (Pire) Laes.
After attending St. Peter and Paul and Whitney Schools through middle school, Marilyn went on to work for many, many years as a nurse’s aide.
When not working, she enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and riding her motorcycle. Marilyn loved nothing more than going up North and spending time with her family.
Left to cherish Marilyn’s memory are her siblings, Michael (Marilyn) Laes, Donald Laes, Kathleen Giesler, Jeanette (Darrell) Budzban, Susan Laes, and Barbara Phillips all of Green Bay and Bonnie (William) Huben of Appleton. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Laes; brother in law, Ken Phillips; niece, Sarah Huben; nephews, Joseph Phillips and Ron Giesler; and great nephew, Michael Kasee.
Marilyn will be laid to rest in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Kristin at Brown County for the care and companionship she gave to Marilyn.
