Maggie Jacobs, 86, New Franken, passed away August 23, 2025, surrounded by family. Born in Brook, Indiana, on January 17, 1939, she is the daughter of the late Sarah (Hutsell) Vinson. Maggie was a Preble High School graduate class of 1958. She married Kenneth Jacobs June 20, 1959, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Ken and Maggie were foster parents for many years. She worked at Manger and Sons Casket Company for twenty two years. Maggie was a member of the Preble FFA alumni and became a board member. She enjoyed sewing, puzzles, decorating cakes, and knitting. Maggie was a long time volunteer at the church. She had the greatest love for children especially her grand kids and great grand kids.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; survived by their five children,son, Henry (Lisa) Jacobs of New Franken and their children, Stephanie Jacobs, Angela (Phil) Daoust, Kate (Trevor) Janiak, daughter, Sarah (Mike) Stangel of Green Bay, daughter Barb (Woller) Thibeault of Sturgeon Bay and her significant other, Mike LuMaye, and her children, Ryan (Shelby) Woller, Amber Woller, Ashley and her fiancee Nathan Benz, son, Bernie (Kathy) Jacobs of New Franken, and their children, Kaitlyn (Shauna) Jacobs, Lauren Jacobs, and son, Virgil Jacobs of Green Bay; great grandchildren, Aiden, Emma, Eleanor, Madilyn, Primrose, Hendrix, Hayden; step grandchildren, Paul (Kate) Thibeault, Trina (Casey VandenHeuvel) Thibeault, Adam Thibeault; step great grandchildren, Emma, Ava, Lane, and Callie; sibling, Ellie (Craig) Kelly; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carol Jacobs, John (Cathy) Jacobs, Marjorie Everard, Marion (Andrew) Leiterman, Rosie Jacobs; many nieces and nephews.
Maggie was preceded in death by her parents; sons-in-law, David Woller, and Mason Thibeault; siblings, John Hirschfield, Marjorie Herlache, Jannie (Pat) Lyons; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don (Shirley) Jacobs, Betty (Tony) Jonet, Dick Jacobs, Jim (Sally) Jacobs and Lester Everard; father and mother-in-law, Henry and Clara (Panure) Jacobs.
Visitation at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3009 Bay Settlement Road, Friday, August 29, from 9:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM.
