Lorraine (Bunker) Carpiaux, 93, Green Bay, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at a local hospital. She was born in Green Bay on May 14, 1932, to the late Alex and Rose (Konop) Bunker. She married Merrill Carpiaux on September 25, 1954, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where she was a lifelong member. Lorraine worked for the HC Prange Co. for 20 years.
She enjoyed going to Packers games and watching the Badgers and Brewers on TV, spending time at their cottage in Crivitz, reading and playing Cribbage and Rummy with friends.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Patricia) Carpiaux; 2 grandchildren: Nicole (Scot) Eber, Brownsburg, IN, and Dr. Aaron (Sonja) Carpiaux, Baraboo, WI; 6 great grandchildren: Brielle and Brayden Eber, and Alice, Helen, Eliza, and Ruthie Carpiaux; 1 sister, Sharon (Tom) Thelen; 1 brother-in-law, Donald Kuester; and many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years; parents; 4 brothers, Harold (Gloria) Bunker, Irvan Bunker, Raymond (Connie) Bunker and Francis (Eileen) Bunker; 3 sisters, Norma Kuester, Shirley (Bernard) Mysliwiec, and Doris (Clifford) Pfiefer; in-laws: William (Mary) Carpiaux; sister-in-law, Gladys (Norbert) McHugh; 2 brothers-in-law, Harold (Janet) Carpiaux and Richard Carpiaux.
Family and friends may visit Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Jose Lopez officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
