Lloyd E. Larscheid, 90, Green Bay, passed away early Tuesday morning, Dec. 20, 2016 at a local care facility. Born Dec. 3, 1926, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Edward and Catherine (Oberhofer) Larscheid. Lloyd was a graduate of East High School. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for many years. Lloyd was the former owner/operator of Bay Frozen Foods for a number of years. He served as a rural mail carrier for nearly half a century, delivering mail in his Volkswagen Beetle. He married the former Carol Charles on May 17, 1947 and she preceded him in death on May 1, 1982. The couple had three children whom sadly preceded their parents in death. Lloyd later married the former Alyce Le Paige on April 28, 1985 and she also preceded him in death on Nov. 24, 2003. He enjoyed purchasing, moving, and rehabbing homes prior to renting them out. Lloyd will be remembered as a hard worker with a very generous heart.
Lloyd is survived by six nieces and nephews, Debbie (Dennis) Deprey, Dorothy (Steve) Eggert, Steve (Connie) Larscheid, Curtis (Kay) Larscheid, David (Sheila) Larscheid, and John (Jody) Larscheid; a step-granddaughter, Stella; and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Carol and Alyce; children, Mary Kay, Christopher, and Lisa; one brother, Carlton (Jeannine) Larscheid.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St. Friday, Dec. 23, from 2:30pm until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass, 5:30pm Friday at Saints Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Anthony V. Cirignani, OFM officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
