LaVina J. Orosco (Chico), 68, Green Bay, died Monday, June 23, 2025, in hospice care after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Green Bay on June 9, 1957, to the late Tomas and Lavina (Archiquette) Orosco.
Chico was employed at Northern Paper Mill for 15 years after graduating high school; she then worked for Oneida Bingo and Casino in the Table Games Development for over 20 years; and after leaving the casino she worked part time at Kwik-Trip and Hy-Vee. Chico enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid Packers fan and loved NASCAR racing.
Chico is survived by four brothers and sister-in-laws, Arlyn (Georgiann) Cornelius, Shawano; Ruben (Susan) Cornelius, Sabbatus, Maine; Leyne (Gail) Orosco, Green Bay; Quadalupe (Debbie) Orosco, Green Bay; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie (Gabriel) Cibulka, Waldo; and Trudell (James) Kohlwey, Green Bay; many nieces and nephews.
Chico was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clifton Cornelius, and Thomas Orosco; and sister, Delphina Jordan.
Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird St., Tuesday July 1, 2025 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Funeral service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home by Lt.
