Kathleen “Kathy” M. Konshak, age 65, peacefully passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born November 29, 1952 in Green Bay to the late Jack and Ramona (Breth) Mead. Kathy graduated from Southwest High School with the class of 1971. It was here she met her future husband, Keith Konshak and they were married on July 6, 1974. She was a homemaker, raising 3 children. She was actively involved in her children’s schools, always making sure they were well taken care of. Kathy enjoyed playing bingo, putting puzzles together, spending time with her family, traveling and bowling in her younger years.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Keith Konshak; 3 children: Lisa (James) Willi, Mary Konshak, Bryan (Angela) Konshak; 8 grandchildren: Hannah, Piper and Alexander Willi, Austin and Taylor Konshak, Ava, Olivia, and Levi Konshak; 2 siblings: Steven (Marilyn) Mead and Nancy (Tom) Noth; mother-in-law, Roberta Konshak; brother-in-law, Tom Prokash and sister-in-law, Margaret Ryerson; Kathy’s special furry friend, Autumn. Further survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Sandra Prokash and John Mead.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason St, Green Bay, on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Additional visitation will take place at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 S. Madison St, Green Bay, on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Lange officiating. Kathy will be laid to rest at West Side Moravian Cemetery.
