Kathleen Jauquet

April 13, 1949 — May 1, 2023

Kathleen (McClone) Jauquet, 74, Green Bay, an awesome wife, mother, and Grammie, a loving daughter and sister, and a caring, empathetic friend passed away on Monday, May 1.

Kathy was a puzzle, not because she was a challenge but because she incorporated a piece of everything good from each person she met during her journey in life to become the beautiful picture we all saw.  The puzzle pieces included: Nurturing and Irish spirit from her mom and dad.  Competition and sass from her nine brothers and sisters.  Pep and spirit through her St. Mary’s Menasha lifelong friends.  Learning and growing with friends at St. Norbert College.  Caring and expanding faith joining John’s family in 1971.  Support and encouragement through John’s work career. Guiding and protection as she became a mother and grandmother. Work ethic and empathy as part of the St. Jude staff.  Adventure and fun with a large network of friends and neighbors.

The border of her puzzle was the activities she enjoyed: family games, gathering with friends, crafting, backseat driving her and John’s tandem bicycle, teaching John how to play cribbage and often winning. Kathy was a beautiful picture radiating out and shining on us all. The world was and is a better place because of her presence and influence.

Kathy and John are selfless parents of Christine (Jauquet) Crane and Kevin Jauquet and welcoming in-laws to Andrew Crane and Michelle (Ricci) Jauquet.  Their grand blessings are: Katie Crane, Ethan Crane, Hayley Jauquet, Jameson Jauquet, Bella Ricci, and Sophia Ricci.  Kathy loves them unconditionally with her whole heart and soul and spoiled them as often as possible.

She is further survived by her siblings and their spouses: Mike (Claudia) McClone, Kevin McClone, Dan (Cathy) McClone, Molly (Herb) Horn, Maureen (special friend Joe Van Roy) Lamers,  Tim (Lynn) McClone, Pat (Diane) McClone, Brian (Joann) McClone and Kelly McClone.  Also John’s siblings and their spouses: Bill Jauquet, Don (Sue) Jauquet, Barbara (Tom) Rawling, Jim (special friend Mary Cuene) Jauquet, Debra Jauquet, and Joe (Michelle) Jauquet. She was a proud aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by, and deeply missed her parents, Ralph & Rita McClone, her in-laws, Bill & Claudia Jauquet, and two sisters-in-law, Pat Jauquet, Bill’s wife, and Grace McClone, Kevin’s wife.
