Jule A. Hale (nee Wolf), 92, Green Bay, formerly of Larchmont, NY, died peacefully at a Green Bay, WI nursing home on March 26, 2018. Born July 7, 1925, in New York City, NY, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Sullivan) Wolf. On April 25, 1953, she married John P. Hale, and he preceded her in death on December 11, 1999. Jule attained a Bachelor’s degree at the College of Mt. St. Vincent and a Masters degree from Fordham University. She worked as a teacher in public and parochial schools in the New York area for her entire career. Jule enjoyed traveling, reading, and had a passion for teaching. She had a strong faith, and her devotion to the Lord was exhibited through her kindness and compassion.
Jule is survived by two children, Dr. John M. (Marianthe) Hale, Green Bay, and Elizabeth M. Hale-Shames, Bonduel; three grandchildren, John P., Katherine, and Julia; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one sister, Theresa Ross; and one grandson, Christopher T. Shames.
Memorial Mass at SS. John and Paul Church, 280 Weaver St, Larchmont, NY, Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Malcore Funeral Home & Crematory in Green Bay, WI assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
