John D. Dart, 71, Green Bay, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 25, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Born September 24, 1949, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Arthur and Lorraine (Tuyls) Dart. John was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and faithfully served as a chef on his assigned base in Germany. He later married Rose M. Bodway on March 2, 1985. John was employed as a surveyor with Ayres Associates for many years. He will be remembered for his love of Bay Beach Amusement Park, Legos, Disney, and especially his playful sense of humor. Most importantly, John was a loving and caring husband and dad.
John is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rose; two children, Thomas and Heather Dart; brothers and sisters, Carole VanArk, Betty (Paul) Reinke, David Dart, Michael (Lynn) Dart, Frank (Sue) Dart, Irene (John) Schneider, and Don Dart; and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents; and his sister and her spouse, Donna (Larry) Phillips.
There will be an informal memorial service held at a later date. Malcore (West) Funeral Home is serving the family.
