Joanne Davis

March 29, 1942 — January 28, 2018

Joanne Davis, 75, passed away January 28, 2018, after a short serious illness. Born on March 29, 1942, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Gilbert and Katherine Larsen. Joanne graduated from Green Bay West High School class of ’60. She married William Davis November 23, 1963, in Green Bay. Joanne worked at Northern Paper Mill after she graduated high school. She was a proud homemaker raising her two children. Joanne also worked with her husband Bill supporting Davis Shoe Store-the family business. Later in life she worked at Copp’s Foods for many years. Joanne enjoyed times spent with her grandchildren, gardening, and spending time at her cottage on Point Comfort.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bill; two children, Christine (Chris) Biskner, and Tim Davis both of Green Bay; two grandchildren, Jason and Nicole Biskner; brother, Gerald Larsen of Racine; many nieces and nephews.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents and infant son; brothers and sisters-in-law.

Visitation at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 130 St. Matthews St. Saturday February 3, from 9 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM with Rev. Robert J. Kabat officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Aurora BayCare Medical Center.
