Jesus Barajas Jimenez, 78, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Born with a spirit of strength and resilience, Jesus dedicated his life to cultivating a supportive and loving home.

He is survived by his life partner, Nelida Tapia de Barajas, who shared his journey through life. His legacy continues through his four daughters: Ariana Guzman, Rashell Barajas, Imelda Sanchez, and Nelida Mercado. Jesus was a cherished grandfather, finding immense joy in watching his 16 loving grandchildren and 6 beautiful great-grandchildren grow and blossom. He is also survived by his respected sons-in-law: J. Felix Guzman Robles, Noe Rodriguez, Julio Sanchez, and Jorge Mercado, who were welcomed into the family.

Jesus will be remembered for his unwavering love, his strong spirit, his persistent personality with a sense of humor that brought transparency to his character and the beautiful family he created. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St. Friday, November 14 from 4 PM until 8 PM. Visitation will continue Saturday at the funeral home from 9 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Jesús Barajas Jiménez, 78 años, falleció pacíficamente, rodeado de su amada familia. Nacido con un espíritu de fuerza y resiliencia, Jesús dedicó su vida a cultivar un hogar amoroso y de apoyo.

Le sobrevive su compañera de vida, Nélida Tapia de Barajas, quien compartió su viaje por la vida. Su legado continúa a través de sus cuatro hijas: Ariana Guzmán, Rashell Barajas, Imelda Sánchez y Nélida Mercado. Jesús era un abuelo muy querido, que encontraba una inmensa alegría en ver crecer y florecer a sus 16 amados nietos y 6 hermosos bisnietos. También le sobreviven sus queridos yernos: J. Félix Guzmán Robles, Noé Rodríguez, Julio Sánchez y Jorge Mercado, quienes fueron bienvenidos a la familia.

Jesús será recordado por su amor inquebrantable, su espíritu fuerte, su personalidad persistente con un sentido del humor que trajo transparencia a su carácter y a la hermosa familia que creó. Su memoria vivirá en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron.

Velatorio en Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St. el viernes 14 de noviembre de 4 PM a 8 PM. El velatorio continuará el sábado en la funeraria desde las 9 AM hasta la hora de la Misa de Sepelio Cristiano a las 11 AM en la Iglesia Católica de Santos Pedro y Pablo.
