Jean Keon

Jean Keon, 85, Crivitz, formerly of Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at her home. She was born May 26, 1940, in Wausau, WI, daughter of the late Cecil and Margaret (Pauls) Barr. Jean graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1959, and was School Secretary for Green Bay area schools for many years. Jean married Donald Keon, on July 26, 1959, and he preceded her in death on June 21, 2013.

She enjoyed traveling, watching the Packers, and many trips to the casino.

Survivors include her 2 children, Randall (Penny) Keon, Crivitz, and Kris (Tom) Zettler, Green Bay; grandchildren: Cody (girlfriend-Heather), Emily (Cameron), Kyle, Raeann, and Lydel; great grandchildren: Peyton, Zepplin, Keonah, Cash, Kaden Le, Kyler, Rex, Aeyla, Tayah, and Griffin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dick and Mary Keon; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was preceded in death by a son, Ross; daughter, Leslie; a sister, Judy; and in-laws: Jim and Mary Lynn Keon. Jack and Nancy Keon. Wayne and Liz Keon. Meredith Keon and Tom Boncher.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Shelly Stockwell, Koriene Kapalczynski, and Carmen Cheney; and also her nurse practitioner, Jessica Flaeschel, and her assistants JJ and Amalia; and Dr. Singh from Bellin Hospital, as well as Moments Hospice.
