Jean Haselow Charles, age 98, died Saturday, November 26, 2022, in Missouri City, Texas.
Jean was born November 2, 1924, in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Jules and Marie Lefebvre.
Jean made friends around the country living in Wisconsin, Oregon, Texas, Connecticut, Arizona, and even for a few months near Sao Paulo, Brazil. She was a mother and homemaker, but also sold real estate, managed a savings & loan branch, and gave out tax help at the IRS. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing bridge late into her life.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Fred Haselow and Donald Charles, and her 12 siblings.
Surviving Jean are her 4 children, Fritz Haselow, of Watertown, Wisconsin, Mary Haselow of Sequim, Washington, Carl (Michelle) Haselow of Texarkana, Texas, and Peter (Donna) Haselow of Missouri City Texas. Jean is also survived by her 5 granddaughters, Andrea (Jerome) Jansen, Lindsay (Jasen) Wendt, Jennifer (Andy) Combs, Melissa Haselow and Megan Haselow, as well as 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends may visit Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, on Thursday, February 2, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Malcore Funeral Home is assisting the family.
