Jane Matt

Jane Carol Matt, 94, Appleton, went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2023. Born on February 4, 1929, in Milwaukee, she is the daughter of the late Carl and Bernice (Holtzbauer) Reuter. On June 18, 1949, she married John Matt at St. John’s Cathedral in Milwaukee, and he preceded her in death on February 25, 2005.

Jane is survived three children, Linda (Rick) Kaye, Jim (Colleen) Matt, and Lori (Bill) Schmidt; five grandchildren, Julie (Scott), Steve, Marsha, Lindsay,  Jenelle (Greg), Mike (Katerina), and Kristin (Joe); seven great grandchildren, Jackson, Payton, Tristan, Gabby, Morgan, Paige, and Will.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one brother, Jim; and one great grandchild, Ava Rae.

A private service will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park, where she will be interred.  Malcore (West) Funeral Home assisted the family, (920) 499-4100.
