Helen Claire Vandenack

Helen Vandenack, 85, of De Pere, went to be with her Lord early Tuesday morning, June 13, 2023, while at a local nursing home. Born June 19, 1937, in Oconto, she is the daughter of the late Wilton and Lucille (Heroux) Belongia. Helen had worked for many years in the medical field, mostly dealing with medical records. She married Roger Vandenack on December 16, 2005, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton where Helen had been a long-time devoted member. Helen was known for her love of knitting personalized Christmas stockings for family and friends, of which she has made hundreds over the years. 

Helen is survived by her loving husband, Roger; sister, Pat Detaege; niece, Becki Detaege; and other friends and family members.

Visitation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Saturday June 17, 2023, from 11am until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial in Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
