Glenn “Butch” R. Stauff, Jr., 76, Allouez, died peacefully on April 15, 2018. Born on October 10, 1941, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Dr. Glenn and Mildred (Wilmet) Stauff. On May 25, 1968, he married the former Marlene Umentum. Butch is a 1960 graduate of Premontre High School. He worked for various companies in sales in the plumbing, heating, and electrical industries. In his later years he worked for the Green Bay Catholic Diocese. Butch treasured time spent up north hunting, fishing, and outdoor sports. He could fix anything and was always willing to help. He was a die-hard Packers fan. Butch’s family will sadly miss him.
Butch is survived by his two children, Eric Stauff, Green Bay, and Brenda (Scot) Podraza, Green Bay; three grandchildren, Bailey and Rayna Stauff, and Lauren Podraza; five sisters, Mary Ann Andrews, Ellen (Lloyd) Van Lanen, Roberta (Tom) Conard, Catherine O’Brien, and Claire (Bill) Gifford; one sister-in-law, Maureen Stauff; many nieces and nephews; and his former spouse and companion, Marlene Stauff.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Louis Stauff; one sister and brother-in-law, Ann (Richard) Trainor; and three brothers-in-law, Richard Volz, Jules Andrews, and Jack O’Brien.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m. Parish wake service 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Thursday at St. Matthew Church, 130 Saint Matthew St., from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Robert Kabat officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
