Gina M. (Reimer) Tristani, 49, Green Bay, joined the choir of angels, Sunday, December 25th, 2016, surrounded by her family at home. She was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2015. Her deep faith in God allowed her to handle it with grace and dignity. Born in Green Bay, April 7, 1967, she is the daughter of James and JoAnne (Schuh) Reimer. Gina attended St. John the Baptist Grade School, St. Joseph Academy High School the class of 1985, and went on to graduate from UW Oshkosh with a degree in education. She ran track in grade school and high school where she broke many records. Gina continued running and competing up until her diagnosis. She met her husband Brian, of West Virginia, on Spring Break in Daytona Beach. She married Brian Tristani, September 5, 1992, in Howard at St. John the Baptist Church. Gina started her education career in West Virginia and when her first daughter was born became a stay at home mom. When moving back to Green Bay she became a substitute teacher. After Gina’s first day, she knew she wanted to be recertified and become the passionate teacher she came known to be at Anne Sullivan School. She was very supportive of her daughters on a personal and competitive level. Gina was a very active member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Bay Settlement, faith community.
