Gary R. Jolin, 61, Howard, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, August 19, 2013 at home. Born November 23, 1951 in Oshkosh, he is the son of the late Lyle and Isabell (Bovee) Jolin. Gary faithfully served in the U.S. Army for two years. Upon returning from service, he attended NWTC for marketing. He worked at Tufco for 17 years before retiring. Gary will be remembered for his enjoyment of the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and his extreme couponing. He enthusiastically looked forward to the annual gathering of the Jolin Family. Gary truly enjoyed his many close friends at Woodfield Village Apartments.
Gary is survived by five children, Robert (Amanda) Jolin of Rhinelander, Cari Jolin of Green Bay, Stefanie (Ryan) Trevor of Suring, Joshua Jolin, and Shawn Jolin, both of Green Bay; their mother, Betty Jolin of Green Bay; seven grandchildren; 10 brothers and sisters, Lanette Krueger, Diona Jolin, L. John (Vicki) Jolin, Roxanne Jolin, Donald (Teri) Jolin, Debra (Bruce) Peetz, Darlene (Dennis) Klein, Lexine (Elmer) Gauthier, Jeff Jolin and Sheila (Paul) Matuszak; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation at MALCORE (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Saturday, August 24, 2013, from 10am until the time of the service. Memorial service, 11am, Saturday, August 24, 2013, at the funeral home with Chaplain Jonathan Elmer officiating.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established in Gary’s name at the funeral home.
