Francis "Frank" J.  Bunker, 82, Green Bay, passed away, early Monday, August 28, 2023, at a local care facility. Born January 22, 1941, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Alex and Rose (Konop) Bunker. Frank is a graduate of Green Bay East High School. Frank married Eileen Huisman on April 27, 1963, in Oconto, and she preceded him in death on January 26, 2019. Frank served six years in the US Army reserves. Frank was employed as a delivery driver for UPS for many years.

Frank and Eileen enjoyed traveling. They had been to all 50 states and 6 out of the 7 continents. He also enjoyed playing golf, crossword puzzles, and playing cards, especially Sheepshead. Frank was a member of the American Cribbage Congress.

He will be deeply missed by his four children: Cheryl (Scott) Parkos, Veseli, MN, Scott (Sheila) Bunker, De Pere, Chad (Don King), Milwaukee, and Stacie (Mark) Capstran, Oak Creek; four grandchildren, Caleb and Luke Capstran, and Brandon and Gia Kussow; sisters: Lorraine Carpiaux, Green Bay, Sharon (Tom) Thelen, Green Bay; sister-in-law, Phillis McCol, Green Bay; brother-in-law, Don Kuester, De Pere; and Eileen's siblings, Wayne (Marlys) Huisman, Farmington, MN, and Roseanne Stephens, Frederick, MD.  

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold (Gloria) , Irvin (Mary) and Raymond (Connie) Bunker; three sisters, Norma Kuester, Doris (Cliff) Pfeifer and Shirley (Bernard) Mysliewicz; and a brother-in-law, Merrill Carpiaux.

Visitation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason St., Green Bay, Staturday, September 16, 2023 from 9am until the time of the service at 11am. Interment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

Special thanks to the caring staff at Brown County Community Treatment Center on the Swan Wing; Frank's family is especially thankful to the numerous friends, companions and former co-workers who would visit Frank during his final illness.

Memorials to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in Frank's name are greatly appreciated.
