Francis “Fran” R. Falish, age 69, died peacefully on Easter Sunday. Fran worked at Proctor & Gamble for 30 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving with the Army. Fran was an avid outdoorsman, particularly enjoying hunting and fishing. He loved his dog, Peyton. He was a very good chili and booyah maker, and an excellent cook in general.
Fran is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rita; 3 children: Susan (Allen), Brian, and Michael (Katie); 4 grandchildren: Dale, Adam, Avari, and Ben; 6 siblings: Darlene (Norbert), Clarence Jr. (Gen), Jim (Sue), Mary (Rich), Pearl (friend Ezra), Lisa (Ken); sister-in-law, Paula; other relatives and friends.
Fran was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Sr. and Lucy Falish; 4 siblings: Jerry, Jean, Carolyn and and JoAnne.
Family and friends are invited to visit at St. Louis Catholic Church, N8726 County Line Rd, Luxemburg, on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., prayer service at 7 p.m. with Pat Ratajczak, pastoral leader, officiating. Additional visitation will take place at St. Louis Catholic Church on Friday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. with Fr. John Van Deuren and Pat Ratajczak, pastoral leader, officiating. Military Honors will follow the Mass at church. Fran will be laid to rest at Nicolet Memorial Park.
