Fayette Jean VanCampenhout, 77, Two Rivers, formerly of Green Bay, passed away on March 9, 2017 with her family by her side. Born on June 3, 1939 in Suamico, she is the daughter of the late Christopher and Lucille (VanNieuwenhoven) Johnson. Faye worked at St. Vincent Hospital as a nurse’s aide. On September 28, 1957, she married Gerald VanCampenhout at the East Moravian Church of Green Bay and he preceded her in death on January 5, 2000. Faye enjoyed ceramics, listening to country music, watching the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Faye is survived by three sons, Christopher (Holli) VanCampenhout, Kevin (Sandy) VanCampenhout, and Todd (Shelly) VanCampenhout; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, four sisters, Karen (Max) Kirkenwitz, Carol (Fran) Kasson, Gayle (Dave) Hibbard, and Sally Mills; three brothers, Herbert Johnson, Randy (Barb) Johnson, Keith (Shirley) Johnson; three brothers-in-law, Jim Mills, Ron Devroy and Melvin Delvoye; two sisters-in-law, Jackie Johnson and Marilyn Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; mother and father-in-law, Marion and John VanCampenhout; two sons, Bruce and David VanCampenhout; one granddaughter, April VanCampenhout, one grandson, Alex VanCampenhout; four brothers, James Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Tony Johnson, and Tom Johnson; two sisters, Marie Delvoye and Loretta Devroy.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Thursday from 4 to 7pm. Funeral 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. William Kilps officiating.
