Eleanor L. Verheyden, 96, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2020. She was born July 4, 1924, along the Brule River in Florence Co, WI, daughter to the late Albert and Helen (Setlock) Wiencek. She married Robert L. Verheyden, and he preceded her in death in 2004. Along with her husband, they together ran Bob Verheyden Refrigeration.
Survivors include her 2 children, Mary Verheyden Nowak, Peachtree City, GA; and Rob Verheyden, Allouez; grandchildren: Jennifer Nowak Velasco, Lubbock, TX, Johnathan Robert (J.R.) Nowak, Roswell, GA; 2 great-grandchildren, Harrison Velasco, and Walter Velasco, both in Lubbock, TX; sister, Theresa (Bee) Bemis, Washington State; and her sister-in-law, Mildred Verheyden, Denver, CO.
In lieu of a funeral, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at www.malcorefuneralhome.com .
