On Sunday morning, January 3, 2021, Edward P. Kinjerski completed his earthly journey at his home from AML, at the age of 83. He was born to Harry and Anita (Plohar) Kinjerski in Kewaunee, WI, on June 29, 1937. He attended grade school in Krok and graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1955. He was active in football and baseball. Later he enjoyed softball (fast and slow pitch), participating in many leagues and tournaments, and also fishing on the big lake.
On June 8, 1958, he married Edwardine Groulx and she preceded him in death on July 5, 1972, leaving him with five young children: Catherine (Jeff) Moericke, Karen Weddle, Edward H. (Denise) Kinjerski, Paul (Julie) Kinjerski, and Eugene Kinjerski.
On October 12, 1973, he married Rosalie Schott and lived in New Franken for 47 years. He was employed at the Wood's Golf Course, Jim Dost, Peterson Builders. Inc., and other local businesses.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie; his five children and spouses; 13 grandchildren: Michael (fiancee-Jess), Josh (Heather) and Trisha DeBruin, Melissa (Kyle) Carpenter; Amanda Vanden Plas, Nick (Bonnie) Vanden Plas, Katie (Randy) Charles, Ryan (Melanie) Kinjerski, Philip (Alyssa) Kinjerski, Zachary and Jennifer (friend, Ben) Kinjerski; Nicole (friend-Taylor) and Kimberly (friend-Tyler) Kinjerski; and 1 step-granddaughter Melissa (friend-Jeremy) Halla; 8 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters: Robert (Gail), Paul (Vonnie), Harry Carl Kinjerski, Jean (Theodore) Janowski and Joanne Hegnet; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Donna Schott, Richard Schott, Joan and Richard Bertrand, Roselyn Vanden Plas, Lorraine Loberger, Robert Lardinois and Emil (Butch) Schroeder. He was godfather to Kevin Kinjerski, Douglas Kinjerski, Debbie Meunier and Jill Taycher. Many very special nieces, nephews and their families also survive him as well as his golfing partner, Ken Loberger. Also his co-workers at the Wood's Golf Course and Friday morning breakfasts during the off-season.
He was welcomed in Heaven by his parents; mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law; his brother, Norbert (Shirley) Kinjerski, and 26 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Ed loved everything about life--you name it, he enjoyed it. He was always ready to meet the many challenges he faced with strength and courage. His eagle eye and sense of direction were most amazing.
Family and friends may visit St. Killian Catholic Church, 2508 St. Killian Road, New Franken on Saturday, January 9, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev.
