Doreen L. Hermsen, 52, Green Bay, made her journey to her heavenly home, Thursday, June 8, 2017. Born Oct. 3, 1964, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of Betty (Marquardt) Behnke and the late Raymond Behnke. Doreen was a 1983 graduate of West High School. She was employed with Brennen Buick for many years and most recently with Nestle in Little Chute. Doreen was a life-time, active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and deeply cherished her faith in Christ her Savior. She truly enjoyed her time at Crooked Lake and spending time with family and friends. Doreen also enjoyed camping, fishing with her boys, and reading.
She is survived by two sons, Nick and Travis Hermsen and their dad, Glenn Hermsen; her mother, Betty Behnke; her sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Bill Donart; nephews and niece, Jordan, Luke, and Kristin; “adopted” brother and sister, Mark and Shannon King and their son, Walker; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other friends.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Raymond Behnke; numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2066 Lawrence Dr., De Pere, Sunday, June 11th from 3-7pm. Visitation continues Monday, June 12th from 9am until the time of the service at 11am with Pastor Chris Johnson officiating. Malcore (West) Funeral Home is serving the family.
We are comforted in knowing that having died in the faith, Doreen is safe and happy in the arms of Christ. Although we are sad at her passing, we look forward to the day we will join her in His Glory.
