Craig L. Alberts, 59, Green Bay, found peace after a lengthy battle with cancer, Nov. 24, 2017, at a local hospital with family at his side. Born Sept. 27, 1958, in the Town of Preble, he is the son of the late Reginald and Erma (Dugan) Alberts. Craig will be remembered as an avid fisherman who loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed playing video games and time spent at the casino. Craig had a larger then life personality with many good friends.
Craig is survived by four children, Jesse (Kristie Brandt) Schenk, Tracy Germait, Felicia Brunette, Trevor Brunette; six grandchildren, Isaiah, Isaac, Clayton, Leah, Isis, and Isabelle; step-grandchildren; sister, Peggy (Tim) Dorn; brothers, Brent (Jean), Chris (Pam), Scott (June), Cory (Chris), Tim (fiancee’ Kim), and Jonas (fiancee’ Dawn); special friend, Kathy L.; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, Reginald and Erma; brother, Preston Alberts; step-sister, Lori Jensen; and his very special grandma, Josephine Alberts.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St. Friday, Dec. 1, from 2pm until the time of the service at 3pm with the Rev. Ken DeGroot, O. Praem, officiating. Inurnment in Allouez Catholic Cemetery on Monday, Dec. 4.
A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
