Barbara A. Dix

Barbara A. Dix, 74 of Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Aurora BayCare after a long illness. She was born on October 16, 1946 to the late Carl and Hildegarde (Zuleger) Bosse in Medford, WI. She was united in marriage to Richard Dix on March 4, 1967 at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Green Bay.

Barb graduated from Green Bay East High School and worked for many years as a CNA at Parkview Manor.

Her favorites included watching all Wisconsin Sports teams, bird watching, cribbage, shaking dice, crocheting and above all visiting and spending time with her family and friends. She was a long time member of Grace Lutheran Church of Green Bay.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Richard (Tara) Dix of Two Rivers, Michael (Lisa Paulsen) Dix of Sobieski and Christina (Rodney) Zinkel of Green Bay; grandchildren, RT Dix, Mike Dix, Alicia Dix, Cody Reinke and Karissa Greenwood; siblings, Bill (Kathy), Roland (Terri), Ray (Mary) and Sharon Bosse; brother and sister in law, Donna (Bob) Hendricks and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; siblings, Dennis and Bud “Carl” Bosse; and sister in law, Betty (Ronald) Counard.

A funeral service will be held for Barb at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Malcore Funeral Homes-East. Pastor Julie Wrubbel-Lange will be the officiant. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Barb will be laid to rest at the Nicolet Memorial Gardens Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Green Bay Humane Society or to the Wisconsin Kidney Foundation in Barb’s name.

The family would like to send as special thank you to Dr. Mendoza, nurse Kayla and CNA Mary from Aurora Bay Care for all the care and support that they gave to Barb. They also send an extra special thanks to sister Sharon for all the love she gave.
