Amy Lynn (Mahoney) Signaigo, 48, died Thursday, September 9, 2021 at The University of Chicago Medical Center from long term effects of childhood cancer. She was born September 30,1972. Amy was a Green Bay Preble High School graduate. She received a B.S. in computer and electrical engineering from Purdue University and earned a JD degree from Northwestern Law School. She and Robert Signaigo were married on August 19, 2006 in Lemont, Il. After working at various Chicago law firms she taught at Northwestern Law School and the University of Missouri School of Law. Amy is survived by her parents, Thomas and Susan Mahoney, siblings, Steven (Jennifer) Mahoney, Michael (Kelly) Mahoney, Molly (Kevin) Stanley, Daniel (Danielle) Mahoney and Timothy (Jennifer) Mahoney, grandfather James Engimann, sister and brother-in-law Lynda and Roger Eberhart, nieces and nephews Abby, Joselyn, Connor, Patrick, Sean, Colleen, Henry, Jack, Quinn, Scott, Mark, Grace, Sam, and Riley. She was preceded in death by grandparents Jeremiah and Marion Mahoney and Shirley Engimann, and uncle, David Engimann.
A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11 AM at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 139 S. Madison St., Green Bay, WI, 54301. Internment was at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville, IL. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Offerings in Amy’s name may be made to Families of Children with Cancer, P.O.
