Zane Gilbert
October 29, 1924 — December 9, 2017
Zane K. Gilbert, 93, Green Bay, died peacefully at a local nursing home on December 9, 2017. Born on October 29, 1924, in Stewartville, MN, he is the son of the late George and Mary Gilbert. Zane was a proud volunteer at the National Railroad Museum, and worked at ASPIRO for many years.
He will be deeply missed by his “house parents”, Bill and Susan Parenteau.
***CHANGE OF DATE AND TIME: Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Wednesday (Dec. 20), from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Funeral service 3:00 p.m. WEDNESDAY at the funeral home.
A special thank you to all of the caregivers that assisted Zane during this lifetime, especially Susan Parenteau, for the special care that she provided for many years.
