Verna M. Vincent, 84, Crivitz, formerly of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at a local hospital while surrounded by her family. Born January 16, 1931, in Champion, she is the daughter of the late John and Minnie (Delvaux) Renier. Verna married Russell C. Vincent on Nov. 27, 1948, at St. Joseph Church, Champion. The job she enjoyed the most was serving as a nurse’s aid at St. Mary Hospital in Green Bay. The couple were active members of Saints Peter and Paul Parish prior to their move to Crivitz in 1985 where they became members of St. Mary Parish in Crivitz. Verna enjoyed crocheting, stained glass work and making Ukrainian eggs. Most importantly, she will be remembered as a devoted wife and she loved her family dearly.
Verna is survived by her husband of 67 years, Russell; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Carol Vincent of Green Bay; three grandchildren, David (fiancée Heather Dettman) Vincent, Douglas (Cathy) Vincent, and Katie (Eric) Stanczak; seven great-grandchildren, Nathan and Ellie Vincent, Katie (Will) Ohman, James and Grace Vincent, Landen and Lance Stanczak; two great-great grandchildren, Isaac and Autumn Ohman; brother, Elmer Renier of Dycksville, and brother-in-law, Elmer Vandervest of Dycksville.
Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sandra Vincent Radmer; son and daughter-in-law, Dcn. Michael and Doris Vincent; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Mayme Renier; sister, Florence Vandervest; and sister-in-law, Marie Renier.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 8:30am until the time of the Funeral Mass at Saints Peter and Paul Church at 10:00am with The Most Reverend David L. Ricken presiding. Verna will be buried in St. Joseph Cemetery, Champion.
