Tom La Plant

Thomas La Plant, 65, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014, at home. Born on August 21, 1948, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Raphael and Gladys (Rentmeester) La Plant. Tom graduated from Green Bay Preble High School class of 1966. He worked at Proctor and Gamble for thirty-four years. Tom then worked as a bailiff for the county for thirteen years. He lived his life with a lot of joy and fun and shared it with many friends. Tom enjoyed his dogs, hunting, and his trips to South Dakota. He had a lot of love for his family and friends and will be sorely missed.

Tom is survived by his wife, Sue La Plant; four children, Tom (Rachel) La Plant, Stacey La Plant, Becky Roggenbuck, and Steve (Robin) Roggenbuck; eight grandchildren; seven siblings, Richard (Barbara) La Plant, Judy (Darrell) Vincent, Nancy Lax, Sue (Larry) DeKeyser, Michael (Donna) La Plante, Kris (Jim) Daubner, and Kathy (Paul) Pavlik; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St. Friday from 3 PM until the time of the funeral at 7 PM.
