Scott Denessen, 57, Green Bay, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at home. Born in Green Bay, June 14, 1958 (Flag Day), to Richard C. and Florence R. (Ostrenga) Denessen. Scott graduated from Preble High School. He played semi-pro football years ago, and enjoyed baseball. Scott loved to cook and create new recipes.
He is survived by his daughter, Shelby Denessen of Phoenix, AZ, whom Scott loved very much; grandson, Dylan Denessen; mother, Florence Denessen of Green Bay; father, Richard Denessen of Winter Springs, FL; siblings, Mark Denessen of De Pere, Cris Taylor of Green Bay, Lori (Tom) Zimmerman of Green Bay, and Kelly (Shelly) Denessen of Snohomish, WA; aunt, Dotty Ostrenga of Green Bay; good friend, Lynn Doran; and cousins.
Private services will be held at a later date. Malcore (East) Funeral Home is caring for the family.
