Roberta “Bobbi” Sulk, PhD, 58, Howard, formerly of Marinette, passed away Wed., April 1, 2015, at a local hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Born April 16, 1956, in Marinette, she is the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Bergstadt) John. Roberta is a graduate of Marinette Catholic Central, UW-Marinette, UW-Green Bay, and obtained her Doctorate of Chemistry from the University of Wyoming. For the past eleven years, she was employed as an instructor with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC), Green Bay Campus. Roberta will be remembered for her passion for golfing, painting, and her cats. She also was an avid Packer fan, particularly of Donald Driver. Roberta enjoyed swimming and spending time with family.
Roberta is survived by four children and their spouses, Erik Sulk of Menominee, MI and his children, Jordon, Arika, McKenzie, Emily, and Ryan; Jason (Tracy) Sulk of Marinette, and their children, Cinnamon and Camy; Samara (Mike) Wilson, of Pelkie, MI, and their children, Anthony, Michael, Eli, Samuel, and Riley; and Kimberli Nelson of Lisle, IL and her children, Abigail, Alexis, and Amelia; one great-granddaughter, Maggie; two sisters, Judie (Wayne) Wiltzius of Gladstone, MI and Linda Christensen of Marinette; one brother, Richard John of Gladstone, WI; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Daphne Sulk; and one brother, Peter John.
Visitation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Monday, April 6th, from 4-8pm. Funeral service 7pm Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Dale Welch officiating. In keeping with Roberta’s wishes, cremation will follow the services.
