Raymond Arthur Beloin Jr.

Raymond Arthur Beloin, Jr., age 83, of Mishicot, WI, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, July 17, 2014 after a short illness. He and his wife, Jane Frances (Alexander) Beloin, resided at their daughter and son-in-law’s home for the last nine years. In retirement, he enjoyed reading and watching his 20 grandchildren grow.
He was born January 29,, 1931 in Bridgeport, CT, son of the late Raymond Arthur Beloin Sr. and Sue Anna (Hepp) Beloin. Ray graduated from Palm Beach High in 1949, earned a Bachelor’s Degree from East Tennessee State University in 1957 and completed his Master’s Degree from George Peabody University in 1962. On June 17, 1961 he married Jane Alexander at St. Juliana Catholic Church in West Palm Beach, FL. Ray retired in 1990 at the age of 59 from the Wisconsin Job Service in Manitowoc where he worked for 13 years. Previously, Ray taught English classes in both Florida and for over two years in Australia.
Survivors include his wife, Jane (Alexander) Beloin, one sister, Jane Frances Stephenson; one brother, Donald Kenneth Beloin; one sister-in-law, Nancy (Alexander) Cochrane - all of West Palm Beach, FL; four children, Raymond Beloin III (Hongfar) of Brown Deer WI, Christopher Beloin (Kim) of Grafton, WI, Elizabeth Koldoff (Mark) of Norman, OK, and Rebecca Stonebraker (Michael) of Mishicot, WI; and 20 grandchildren. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30PM at Berean Fellowship,1402 Clark Street, Manitowoc, Wi, on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Malcore (East) Funeral Home cared for the family.
