Ralph A. Gadbois, Jr., 75, Green Bay, passed away March 15, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born on November 25, 1938 in Connecticut. Ralph enlisted in the Army at a young age then went to work as a DOD civilian at Fort Campbell KY. He also worked as a DOD civilian in Vietnam. Ralph owned a computer consulting business for many years in Russellville, KY. He then moved north Las Vegas, NV, where he worked for the city as data processing manager. Ralph then moved to Green Bay in 1977 where he took on the job of data processing manager for the city of Green Bay. It was there he met Marilyn and on November 25, 1977, he married Marliyn Gadbois at Tabor United Methodist Church in Gillett and she preceded him in death on January 12, 2009. They enjoyed thirty years of married bliss. Ralph was active in the Masonic Lodge and later in life the 432nd Civil Affairs Company (Army Reserve), based here in Green Bay. Upon retirement Ralph spent many hours enjoying his hobby, model railroading. He also spent many years driving for the Lamers Bus Company, primarily as a school bus driver.
He is survived by his three sons, Christopher Gadbois, from Bowling Green, KY, Clifton (Zhao) Gadbois, Salt Lake City, UT, and Ralph Gadbois, III, of Green Bay; three grandchildren, Seth, Danielle, and Caleb; one sister, Laura Jarrett.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home 701 N. Baird St. Thursday, March 20, from 5 PM until the time of the memorial service at 7 PM.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Unity Hospice who not only made his final days comfortable but were also of great assistance to the family.
