Patrick Nuthals

Patrick D. Nuthals, 64, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Feb. 11, 2015, at Wisconsin Veterans Home at King. Born Jan. 8, 1951, in Green Bay, he is the son of Georgiana (Fink) Nuthals and the late Wayne Nuthals. Pat served in the U.S. Army from 1971-1973 during the Vietnam Era. He was employed as a carpenter for many years. Pat was a proud member of AA, recently celebrating 24 years of sobriety. He was a member of the Gathering Place and also took great pride in educating the community regarding the challenges in dealing with mental illness and alcohol abuse. When Pat was no longer able to continue to use his talents with woodworking, he expressed his creative side through painting. He will be remembered for his enjoyment of the outdoors, including hunting and fishing, and times spent at family gatherings.

Patrick is survived by his mother, Georgiana; one daughter, Jennifer Smalley; two grandchildren, Natasha Marie Harvey and Joshua Allen Harvey; very special friend, Cheryl Blazer; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Dennis Adams; one brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Kathy Nuthals; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family members and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St. Sunday, from 12 noon until the time of the service. Funeral service 4pm at the funeral home followed by full military honors. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visit www.malcorefuneralhome.com to share a condolence with the family.
